He was predeceased by: his parents, Epifano Soto and Preciliana Soto (Constante); his wife Amalia G. Soto; his siblings, Juan, Fidencio Soto, Maria Guadalupe Arrendondo and Margarita Ballesteros; and his grandchildren, Paige Wojcinski Jarvis and David Van James Jarvis.

He is survived by: his pet Chico; his children, Maria Edwards (Robert), Ricardo Soto (Angie), Hilda Jarvis (Bruce), Luis Soto (Patricia), Marcos Soto (Erica) and Cristoval Soto (Shane Garver); his grandchildren, Breana Wrozek (Matt), Benjamin Edwards, Angel McAfee (Josh), Rick Soto (Melissa), Rebecca Sanchez (Rojelio), Renee Torres (Carlos), Bruce Jarvis Jr., Bianca Pahl (Stephen), Alexander Jarvis (Paige), Hailey Soto (Josh Measles), Luis Soto Jr., Savannah Mcle (Josh), Marcos Jr., Antonio, Christian, Carmela, Ava and Addison Soto; and his brother Roberto Soto. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren: 9 great-great grandchildren.
