He was predeceased by: his parents, Tufie Francis and Amelia Francis; his wife Carolina Capriotti; and his siblings, Jerry, Ruthie and Judy.

He is survived by: his brother George; his children, Theresa Hankenhof (Thomas), John Francis (Angie), Jim Francis (Randy), Joseph Francis, Veronica Connell (Patrick) and Jeffrey Francis (Jennifer); his niece Gina Haskins; his grandchildren, Kathleen Hankenhof, Kristen Hankenhof, Nicholas Francis (Jessica), Matthew Francis (Michaela), Stephen Francis and Benjamin Francis; his great-nephew Michael Haskins (Elyssia); his great-niece Amanda Tegeder (Brendan); Annabelle. He is also survived by many other friends and family members.
