He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clyde E. Tisdale and Thelma M. Tisdale; and his siblings, Clyde Tisdale, Jr., Charles Tisdale, Carl Tisdale, Delbert Tisdale, Thomas Baskin, Robert Baskin, Lloyd Baskin, Albert Baskin, Dolline Beard and Ruth Savage.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Tisdale; his daughters, Stephanie Teamer (Craig) and Shannon Carter (Darren); his grandchildren, Justin, Jalen, Kendall Teamer, Heaven and Calen Carter; and his siblings, Cathern Morgan, Betty Edwards, Gerald Tisdale, Jack Tisdale (Gloria), Margaret Tisdale, Patricia Sloan (Claude), Gary Tisdale (Tammy), Bishop Duane Tisdale (Thelma), Lucille Boyette (Robert), Delois Baskin and Patricia Weaver. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
