He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel D. Knopp and Mabel M. Knopp (Epker); and his brother Craig Knopp. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; and his siblings, Britt Charles Knopp (Pat), Daniel Knopp (Margie) and Vicki Orovitz (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving family members.
