We announce the death of Edna V. Hudson-Dennis (Toledo, Ohio), who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 88. Edna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Scott and Edward Porche'; her former husband Herman Hudson Sr.; her children, Herman Jr., O'Neal, Vernon Hudson, Geneva Kynard and Brenda Hudson-Phillips; and her granddaughter Arayah.
She is survived by: her children, Rosetta Blakely (Eugene), Cathy, Tamara Hudson, Edward Porche' and Clyde Hudson; and her siblings, Barbara Harvey of Chicago, IL, Doris Lewis, Letishia Taylor, Luredean Scott, Lee Clyde, Larry, Kenneth and Michael. She is also survived by grandchildren as well as two great-great grandchildren, and a multitude of relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt Nebo Baptist Church (831 N Detroit Ave, Toledo, OH 43607). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
