He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clayborn and Mildred Lucille Blanks Clayborn; his daughter Edi Clayborne; and his brothers, Michael Clayborne and Thomas Clayborne (TC).
He is survived by: his children, Edwin Clayborne Jr. (Sommer Clayborne), Sasha Clayborne and Takeyla Brown; his grandchildren, Charlotte Mack, Savannah Mack-Clayborne, Easton Clayborne, Essa Clayborne, Saniyah Thompson, Arnajah Gilbert, A'lajah Gilbert, Aaliyah Clayborne, Jasmyne Brown and Jaysean Brown; and his siblings, Cassandra Marsenburg (Jerry Marsenburg), Dorthia Owensby, Frances Clayborne and James Clayborne. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
