It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine Harris of Toledo, Ohio, born in Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Morris and Merley Mae Huskins; her son Victor J. P. Harris; and her siblings, Arthur Morris, Lonnie Osley, Mildred Hall and Ilois Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Barney, Lawrence Morris (Kathy) and Kristina Harris-Bey (Raheem); her grandchildren, Gilbert L. Barney, Lawrence Morris Jr., Trenton Morris, Brandon Morris, Margaret Morris, Alana Morris, Dean Morris and Adrian Elliott; and her siblings, Robert Morris Jr., Willie Jack Morris, Layne Anthony Morris and Dorothy Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
