He is survived by: his wife Rosetta McCoy; his son Rodney E. McCoy; his grandchildren, Jaelin McCoy, Rodney McCoy Jr. and Ny'Kirah McCoy; and his siblings, Annie Ruth Seals of Oakland, CA, Gennetta Fitzgerald (Jessie) of Toledo and George H. Holloway Jr. (Betty Jean) of Jackson, Mississippi. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
