With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Rose Sparks of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on July 30, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zera and Hattie Zera (Zawierucha); her husband Leo H. Sparks; her grandchildren, Chad Geitgey, Chancelor Shipman, Mark Dodd and Michelle Dodd; and her siblings, Mary Dauer, Josephine Muszynski, Sister Mary Hedwig, Stanley and Chester Zera.
She is survived by: her daughters, Geraldine Oberheu and Nancy Geitgey. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
