He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Szumigala and Rita Szumigala (Zaborowski). He is survived by: his children, Alison Oprea (Alexa Fulmer) and Greg (Katie Lemke); his granddaughter Hannah Oprea; his wife Jane (Chapman); his siblings, David Szumigala (Judy) and Julie Wilson (Jeff); his parents-in-law, Frank and Evelyn Chapman; and his close friend Bill.
