He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Castor and Zelma Castor (Goldsmith); and his sister Peg Spratt. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Brian, Melissa (David) and Tammy Horton (Bobby); and his brother Tom (Sunny). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
