He was predeceased by: his former wife Marjorie Ann Marshall; his wife Joan Marshall; his son George; his daughter-in-law Connie Marshall; his grandson James; his siblings, Doris Emmett, Walter Marshall and David Marshall; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Marshall, Warren Danielson and Paul Emmett.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Allen Marshall of Lexington and Sherri Ann Forbes (Dennis) of Madison Heights; his grandchildren, Michael, Eric, Trisha, John and Tiffany; and his sisters, Betty Jean St. Amour (Paul) of Brooklyn and Marilyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
