He is survived by: his children, Jerry Charles (Kathy), Julie Rice, Carrilyn Powell, Lisa Johnson (Kevin), Denise Cook (Jon) and David Charles (Stephanie); and his siblings, Gene Charles and Linda Quertinmont (Tom). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home & Crematory - Sylvania (5155 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
