He was predeceased by: his siblings, Cherly Toler, Bridgette Nunn, Mary Anne Nunn, Elaine Brandon, Jennifer Toler-Lawton and Ellery Q. King.

He is survived by: his son Justin Toler (Lynn Cole); his wife Joy Toler; his grandson Justyn Toler; and his sisters, Cynthia Toler, Esther Dumas and Phonsa Powell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
