Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gigi Metzger (Toledo, Ohio), who passed away at the age of 80, on October 12, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Litzenberg and Delphine Litzenberg (Wiza); her husband Jack Metzger; her brother Jeff Litzenberg; and her brother-in-law Melvin Poturalski.

She is survived by: her children, Gregg Shadle (Ronnie), Samanttha Price (Dave), Georgette Ritter (Troy) and Chadd Shadle (David Verdugo); her grandchildren, Gregg Jr. Shadle (Zee), Mistee Fox (Josh), Justin Price (Tara), Jacob Price (Marisa), Bauer and Cameron Ritter; her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Luka, Parker, Zara, Archer, Rhett and Owen; her sister Madonna Poturalski; and her sister-in-law Maryellen Litzenberg. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.

The family would very much like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio; a special thanks to Lindsey for her compassion and special care; donations to the organization would be gratefully accepted in lieu of flowers.
