He is survived by: his mother Terresa Baggett (Flores) of Toledo Ohio; his son Brendan of Ohio; his brothers, Allen Atkinson (Erin) of San Antonio Texas and Mark Vachon (Jenny) of San Antonio Texas; his stepmother Gloria Atkinson of Adrian; and his siblings, Michelle Atkinson of Toledo, Eric Atkinson of Adrian, Herbey Atkinson (Jaime) of Blissfield, Michael Atkinson of Adrian and Eduardo Atkinson (Christina) of Morenci. He is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews and cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riga Fire Hall.
