Helen Yglesias Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 14, 2026, at the age of 89, Helen Yglesias (Toledo, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis LaPlante and Sarah LaPlante (Parker); her husband Frank Yglesias; her sons, Frank Jr., Gary and Richard; her grandsons, Jesse, James, Mason and Corey Yglesias; and her siblings, Arthur, Joseph, Louis, Francis, Thomas, Henry, George, Gerald LaPlante, Catherine Lenz, Louise Halas, Clara Wise, Rita Bielawski, Sarah Lozinski, Eva Huntzinger and Laura Poiry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rose Yglesias, Janice Yglesias, Regina Herrera and Donna Keeler (Tim); and her brother James LaPlante. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
