He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Sue" Martin; his daughters, Julia Mauk (Patrick) and Sarah Martin; his grandchildren, Marina (Kevin), Christian, Athena, Anessa, Henry and Eliza; his great grandchild RJ Moore; his cousins, Mary Anne Franklin, Lynncheryl Gadson and Lonterryl Gadson (Sharon); and his friend Tom Acita. He is also survived by extended family members; dear friends.
In 2011, he was inducted into the Dayton Walk of Fame in recognition of his lasting contributions to the cultural life of the Miami Valley.
