He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Russell and Catherine Russell (Byrd); and his son Robert. He is survived by: his son Howard; his wife Erika Bernath; his children, Janette Gee (Thomas) and John Russell; his grandchildren, Erika Wojkiewicz (David), Stephen Gee (Rachel), Jessica Russell (Shawn Pottker), Zachary Russell and Victoria Russell (Josh Parish); his great grandchildren, Thomas, Stella, Henry, Lucy Wojkiewicz, Alexander Gee and Savannah; his sisters, Susan Mitchell (Michael), Nancy Morley (Kerry) and Sandy Zaciewski; and also Howard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
