Jack Simpson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Simpson of Toledo, Ohio, born in Pineville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Opal Simpson; his son Jack Simpson Jr.; his sister Sue Hodges; and his former life partner Frances "Ruth" Simpson. He is survived by : his wife Marie; his daughter Teresa Pedelose (Mike Mishka); his stepchildren, Douglas Richardson (Lynn) and Debra Clark (Greg); his grandchildren, Sarah Davis, Marissa Whitmore (Travis) and Nicholas Bonnette (Taylor Green); his stepgrandchildren, Doug Richardson Jr. (Larissa), Melissa Beck (Tom Potts), Ashley Root, Adam Richardson (Shannon), Matthew Richardson (Israel Garcia) and Justin Hanus; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Maverick Whitmore; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kennedy Richardson, Jeremiah Cook (Sam), Dylan Thaxton, Kyle Beck, Ashley Root, Allie Richardson, Gavin Richardson, Jayce Richardson, Olivia Richardson, Orion Cook, Myah Cook, Odin Cook and Luca Thaxton; and his brother-in-law Charles Hodges. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home (440 S Coy Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
