It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Caviness (Toledo, Ohio), born in Merigold, Mississippi, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Clinton and Mary L. Clinton; and her children, Shontay Clinton and Kendall L. Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Athena K. Clinton and Jeffrey Ellis Jr. (Brandy); her grandchildren, Phoenix-Laurent, John-Maverick, Zahara, Lilly, Jada, Rosalind and K'Drean; her siblings, Lee Clinton (Sharee), Leo Clinton (Beulah), Patricia Harris (Michael) and Gregory Clinton; her great-aunt Ann Eck (Alan); and her close friend Arlinda Capello (Gary). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
