He is survived by: his children, Darren Boyd, Yavonda Renee Boyd, Bonnata (Bonnie), Derrick Boyd and Vershon McNeil; his sisters, Lula Boyd and Doris Boyd-Brown; his grandchildren, Juliana, S'Voane, Latoya Boyd, Dominic Schmidt, Martise Thompson, Wardell Lawson III and Janae Vaughn; and his close friends, Salena Beene, Meatball and Sam. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
