The family announces the passing of James Bruce Findley of Toledo, Ohio on July 19, 2026. James Bruce, born on April 26, 1932, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Findley and Gladys Findley (Funk); and his siblings, William Findley and Patricia Freund. He is survived by: his wife Sanda Lee Otto; his children, Anne Beer (Bob), Karen Judd (Rob) and Craig Findley (Amy); his granddaughters, Julie Beer, Meredith Beer, Lisa Judd (Chris Hall), Louise Judd, Mallory Findley (Scott Burgess), Molly Findley (Luke Swint), Mary Findley and Megan Findley; and his sister-in-law Liz Otto. He is also survived by seven nieces, two nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Presbyterian Church (4225 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Inverness Club (4601 Dorr St, Toledo, OH 43615).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Christ Presbyterian Church or the Toledo Museum of Art.
