He is survived by: his children, Susan Mihaly (Stephen) and James Suszka Jr. (Patricia); and his grandchildren, Stephen Mihaly III, James Suszka III, Stephanie Fernandes (Raphael), Margaret Suszka and Madeliene Suszka.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to the charity of the donor's choice or to the Oconee Memorial Hospital Foundation, designated to Cancer Institute – Seneca Fund, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
