He is survived by: his wife Linda Ott; his children, Richard L Ott (Cindy) of Sylvania, Lynda M Mohr (Andy) of Berkey, Jeff Wenzlick (Katie) of Maumee and Cindy Coposky (Bob) of Frederick, MD; his grandchildren, Rachel Ott (Peter Chouquette), Marion Swanson, Devon Mohr, Cassidy Thompson, Jenna Thompson and Jacob Wenzlick; his great grandchildren, Leyah Chouquette, Sylar Chouquette and Brayden Smith; and the mother of his children Joanne Snyder Ott.

The family suggests memorials be made to African Textbook Mission, via Flanders Road church of Christ.
