He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann Prater and Roy E. Prater I; and his mother-in-law Francis Hemple. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Prater; his daughter Jenna; his son-in-law Drew Morris; his daughter Jamie Prater; his son-in-law Christopher Chamberlin; his grandchildren, Liam Chamberlin and Paziley Chamberlin; and his brothers, Ron Prater (Millie), Roy Prater II (Mary), Jody Prater (Tammy) and Ryan Prater (Joann). He is also survived by many cousins and lifelong friends.
