He is survived by: his children, Donnita Saxton, James "Terrill" Barnes and Ahjaynay West; his mother Amanda West; his siblings, Vera West, Lucinda Sharp-Peeples and Gregory West; his aunt Cordelia Roberts; and his son Donnell Saxton. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins.
