It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Marie Welniak of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janice Marie Welniak to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Blochowski and Leona Blochowski (Czolgosz). She is survived by: her husband Thomas Welniak; her children, Laurie Gordon (Cory), Robert (Sue) and Jeffrey Welniak (Rachel); her siblings, Cynthia McCaw (James), Gary (Toni) and Joseph Blochowski (Julie); her grandchildren, Shane, Ryan, Nicholas, Dustin Patterson, Sarah, Alex Welniak (Lindsay), Rachel Ringer (Hunter) and Max Welniak; and her stepgrandchildren, Annabelle and Colin Gordon. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sujkowski Funeral Home (114 E Alexis Rd, Toledo, OH 43612). A rosary will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Regina Coeli Catholic Church (530 Regina Parkway, Toledo, OH 43612).
Memorial donations may be given to Regina Coeli Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
