He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Whitaker and Evelyn Whitaker; and his parents-in-law, Arthur and Helen Nevers. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Carl Whitaker (Nancy), Jeffrey Whitaker and Julie Whitaker; his grandchildren, Ashley Riggie (Allan) and Shawna Strayer (Dominick); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Abigail and Brylee; and his siblings, Craig Whitaker and Janice Kirk (Jim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
