She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Franklin and Myrtle Bell Franklin; her father-in-law Dan Michael; her brother John Franklin; and her siblings-in-law, Jocyln Franklin, Lamont Calhoun, Marsha White and Shelia Calhoun.

She is survived by: her husband Orrin Calhoun Sr.; her children, Amber Franklin, Robin Calhoun, Yolanda "LaLa" Calhoun Bracken and Orrin "OJ" Calhoun Jr.; her siblings, Phyllis Gray and Tommy Pennington (Elaine); her stepsister Georgianna Henderson; her siblings-in-law, Janine Calhoun Arnold (Joseph), Tracy Calhoun Thomas and Fredrick "Cappy" Calhoun (Tondalaya); and her close friends, Marian Pearce and Robin Burton.
