With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joanne Martha Schock of Toledo, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joanne left this world on September 27, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Andrew John Extejt and Ruth Extejt (Richards); her son Joseph Extejt; and her brother Robert Extejt. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen McCrory and David Schock; and her grandchildren, Douglas McCrory (Crystal), Charles McCrory (Dawn), Nathaniel Schock (Angela), Andrew Schock, Danielle Zipperer, Joseph Extejt (Jackie), Felicia Perez (Andrew) and Alexandra O'Neill (Bobby). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Richard Catholic Church (333 Brookside Dr, Swanton, OH 43558).
