It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joanne V. Szalkowski of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Othel Bennett and Ruth Bennett (Conaway); her husband Raymond; and her siblings, Maribelle Sanzenbacher and Gordon.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Haas (Duane), Randall Szalkowski (Cathy), David Szalkowski (Deb), Ted Szalkowski (Amy) and Beth French (Ronald); her grandchildren, Kevin (Meaghan), Michael (Sara), Jeffrey (Emily), Veronica, Anna (Mike), Kendra, Laurel and Abigail; and her sister-in-law Nance Zeadker. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joanne's memory can be made to Church of St. Andrew, UMC.
