It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Anthony Douglas (Toledo, Ohio), who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Douglas and Cecelia Douglas; his sisters, Victoria Sydnor and Hyacinth Bennett; his daughter Mischelle Douglas; his granddaughter Courtney Gibbons; and his son-in-law Preston Gibbons.

He is survived by : his wife Verbena Douglas; his children, Andrea Summers, Annette "Donna" Gibbons, Jacqueline Gordon (Kevin) and Michael Douglas (Pamela); his granddaughters, Kendra Borum (Tiawan), Victoria Douglas and Michelle Douglas; and his great grandchildren, Brielle and Braylon Borum. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
