He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Hilkens (Clare) and William Hilkens; his wife Nancy Hilkens; his sons, William and Richard Hilkens; and his siblings, William, Thomas Hilkens, Lucile Riebe and Louise Hilkens.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Buzzelli (Achille); his grandchildren, Carrie Goebel, Cami Buzzelli and Tim Perry; his great grandchildren, Jayson and Justyn Goebel; and his brothers, Daniel and David Hilkens.
