He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alva and Marie Hassell (Grady). He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hassell (Eckhart); his daughters, Karen Radecki (Mike) and Lori Aronson (Eric); his stepchildren, Nikki Velliquette and Eric Velliquette; and his sisters, Pat Hassell (Eddy Fishman) and Janet Hassell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
