With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John J. Engler Jr. of Toledo, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Engler Sr. and Louise Engler (Beaudrey); his siblings, Helen Harmon, Robert "Bob" Engler, James "Jim" Engler and Loretta Billard; and his son-in-law Roger Pittenger.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Engler; his children, Beverly Phillips (Donald) of Elmore, OH, Rachel Pittenger of Greenwich, OH and Sarah Heath (Todd) of Toledo, OH; his grandchildren, Rebekah, Michaiah, Marissa (Derek), Joshua, Jeremiah, Hannah, Josiah, Christian, Joel and Jonathan; and his great grandchildren, Greyson and Iyla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Greenlawn Memory Gardens (1793 W McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410).
