He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Berning; his wife Dianna (Rasey); his daughters, Heather Pahl (Curtis) and Ashley Berning-Miller (Mark); his grandchildren, Erin, Lexi and Sadi; and his siblings, Carol Philips (Mike), Jane Finkbeiner, Tim Berning, Bruce Berning and Phyllis Berning. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
