He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Meyer and Louise Shipmen; his brothers, Ralph E. Meyer Jr. and Richard Meyer; and his granddaughter Ta Myah D. Meyer.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Meyer; his children, Terry L. Meyer, Greg A. Meyer (Jill), Tiffany C. Stenson (Brittany), Angel M. Meyer and Tristan R. Meyer (Alisa); and his sisters, Dorothy, Diane, Sandy and Katie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
