The passing of John W. Riley of Toledo, Ohio, born in Greenville, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Riley and Sara Smith; his stepfather Norman Smith; and his siblings, Dot and Clair Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Riley; his stepchildren, Jen Spolnik and Brent Spolnik; his sisters-in-law, Marie Riley, Lynn Dartt (Dean), Sue Maciejewski (Fred) and Nancy Bourbina (Rick); his nephews, Steve Riley and Scott Riley; and his cousins, Ruth Ann Carlson and Ken Riley. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
