He is survived by: his friend Curley Simmons; his sons, Johnnie Willis Jr. (Yolanda), Craig Willis (Lisa) and Eric Willis (Gentry); his grandchildren, Stephen, Antwan, Devon, Erica, Asha, Addison, Savannah and Emerson; his goddaughter Anettra Valentine; and his siblings, Carolyn Mays, Edward Willis and Darrell Anderson.
