It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Guadelupe Cordero of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelio Cordero and Maria Luz Cordero (Salazar); his brother Albert Elizondo; and his brothers-in-law, James Carter, Mike Mareno, Terry Goodman and Ruben Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Connie (Elizondo); his daughters, Raquel Cordero and Cecilia Lozano (Rafael); his grandchildren, Timothy Gonzales (Jenny), Cecilia Gonzales, Thomas Gonzales (Salina), Javier Gonzales (Rebel) and Angel Cordero; and his siblings, Olga Mareno, Geralda Garcia, Hilda Goodman, Maria Luz Sifuentes, Aurelio Cordero (Sylvia), Walter Cordero (Lilly), Gloria Daily (Dennis), Irma Kennedy-Lewis (Tom) and Hector Cordero. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home - Oregon Chapel (440 S Coy Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
