He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles Martin and Simone Emilliene Rochette; and his brother Patrick Martin of Erie, Pennsylvania.. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Michalski (Michael) of Warren, Lori Nystrom (Shaun) of Port Clinton, Michelle Martin of Transfer and Emilliene Martin of Brookfield, Ohio.; his grandsons, Brayden Penwell of New Castle, Shane and Hunter Nystrom of Port Clinton, Ohio.; and his siblings, Jim Martin (Paulette) of Galveston and Michelle Turk (Jim) of Marble. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
