“I cannot even put into words my shock over this sudden loss. I spoke to Joy less than two weeks ago sounding happy and healthy and excited to visit Lansing and maybe meet up together, in her time in MI. There are few people in my life that I have encountered that have sparked such warmth and kindness, I feel blessed beyond measure to have called her my friend. I will miss her more than I can say.
