She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hammick and Edna Hammick; her husband David Varnes; her siblings, Patricia Howe, James Baker, Thomas Shabbit, Lonnie Baker and Ruby; and her close friend Elizabeth "Lizzie" Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Varnes; her grandchildren, Heyleigh, Logan, Johnny, Jayson and Ciara; her great grandchild Naeomi Skye Varnes; and her sister Donna Alexander. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
