She was predeceased by: her mothers, E. T. Evans and Lizzie Evans; her husband James Hampton-Bey; and her brother John L. Evans. She is survived by: her son Alvarez (Brittany); her grandchildren, TaNysha (Mychal), Autumn, VaShawn (Tia), Brelynn, Alvarez and London; and her sister Leola Howe. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the House of Day Funeral Services Chapel (2550 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, OH 43607). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
