She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard J. Gerber and Marcia Gerber (Metzger). She is survived by: her children, Allen Ortman (Richard) and Amy Finnegan (Shawn); her grandchildren, Justice, Aydan Ortman, Maggie and Lucy Finnegan; and her brothers, Gregg Gerber (Joanne) and Len Gerber (Sylvia). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to a local animal shelter.
