He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Carrothers; his stepfather Richard Carrothers Sr.; his father Arthur Sobiniak; and his siblings, Daniel Sobiniak, Tami Benatheiga and Diane Carrothers.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Sobiniak; his grandson Kenny Sobiniak III (Lindsey); his sons, Kenny Sobiniak II (Leota) and Robert Sobiniak; his brother Richard Carrothers Jr.; and his pet Charlie.
