He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Allene Grimes and Herbert F. Grimes; his wife Elizabeth Grimes; his son Brian Grimes; and his brother Scott Grimes (Becky).
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Shadler (Timothy), Jerry Grimes, Jonathan Grimes (Kimberly), Jackie Scott and Victoria Scott; and his siblings, Richard A. Grimes (Maria), Lisa Kolacki and Kim Grimes. He is also survived by his 21 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Kevin's name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
