She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett LaSalle and Rosemary LaSalle (Alameno); her husband James Emerson; and her brother Ronnie Welborn. She is survived by: her brother Francis "Butchie" LaSalle; and her children, John Emerson (Helen), James Emerson (Dani), Tina Emerson, Teri Smith (Lewis "Eddie") and David Emerson (Connie). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
