We bid farewell to Leda D. Tassell (Toledo, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Leda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Leda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Leda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Bonka; her husband Joseph Tassell; and her brother Doyle Salkil. She is survived by: her children, Steven Tassell (Diana), Robert Tassell (Barb), William Tassell (Anna) and Linda Seager (Kevin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donation on behalf of Mrs. Tassell can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
